Diagnostic Technology

Our office is equipped with state of the art diagnostic instrumentation to assist in the diagnosis and management eye diseases and systemic health problems.

OCT ( Optical Coherence Tomography) – a scanning device which creates images of the optic nerve, retina, and cornea . An OCT is used to diagnose glaucoma , retinal and corneal diseases

Automated Visual Field testing – measures the peripheral vision. Used in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and certain neurological conditions

Digital Retinal camera – used to document and manage conditions in the back of the eye

Ultrasound Pachymetry – measures the thickness of the cornea in the front of the eye. used in glaucoma management and laser vision consultations.
